Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I love the classic style windows xp comes with. There are some little applications to change big things
I always use these:
Tclock2 (to replace the startbutton and modify the taskbar)
3d colour changer (to change the colours of your windows)
icon packager (wonderfull to change all icons)
and edensofts myLogo (to replace the microsoft branding in the explorer windows.
